Ultrasonic flow meters GFA 414
Four-channel ultrasonic gas meters with an integrated PTZ volume correction option and the capability of autonomous operation powered by a built-in battery with a lifespan more than 5 years.
The devices are available in diameters ranging from DN 50 to DN 600 and are designed for an operating pressure of up to 25 MPa.
Meters with diameters starting from DN 100 comply with accuracy class 0.5 requirements according to the international standard OIML R137.
The gas meters have passed conformity assessment in accordance with the following Technical Regulations:
– Technical Regulation on Measuring Instruments, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 24, 2016, No. 163;
– Technical Regulation on Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 28, 2016, No. 1055;
– Technical Regulation on Equipment Operating Under Pressure, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 16, 2019, No. 27.
GFA414 — Next-Generation Ultrasonic Gas Meter
The GFA414 is a high-precision, four-channel ultrasonic gas meter designed to meet the needs of the modern gas industry. The device is intended for measuring the volume and flow rate of natural gas in both forward and reverse directions, ensuring reliable commercial metering even under challenging conditions.
An integrated PTZ volume corrector with built-in pressure and temperature sensors provides precise measurement correction according to standard conditions. The meter operates effectively on both main gas pipelines and low-pressure gas networks.
The GFA414 complies with leading international standards (OIML R137, EN 12405) and has passed conformity assessment according to applicable Technical Regulations. The device is resistant to environmental influences, functioning within a temperature range of –25 °C to +55 °C (up to +70 °C upon request).
Its modern explosion-proof design and intrinsically safe electrical circuitry make the GFA414 a reliable solution for enterprises requiring accurate, stable, and energy-efficient gas flow measurement.
Main advantages of the GFA414:
– Wide measurement range (Qmin : Qmax = 1:250)
– Integrated PTZ correction with built-in pressure and temperature sensors
– Autonomous operation powered by a built-in battery with a service life of more than 5 years
– External power supply (12±3 V DC) — compatible with renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind turbines etc.)
– Wide range of outputs for integration into SCADA systems: HF / LF pulses, 4–20 mA, RS 485, and discrete signals
– Operating pressure up to 25 MPa
– Available diameters from DN 50 to DN 600 (larger sizes available upon request)
– Flange-to-flange distance of 3D — same as traditional mechanical gas meters
Additional options:
Meters can be supplied with calibrated straight pipe sections and flow conditioners. We also design and supply complete gas metering units (metering skids) for various applications.
The GFA414 is a reliable, modern solution for replacing outdated mechanical instruments and transitioning to digital gas metering with high accuracy and full integration into contemporary infrastructures.
